LEARN TO MEDITATE EFFORTLESSLY
WITH PRIMORDIAL SOUND MEDITATION
& SOMATIC TOOLS
HI & CZEŚĆ!

My name is Joanna Janke — a certified Primordial Sound Meditation teacher and a student of the body's own wisdom.

What I teach is rooted in an ancient Vedic tradition, dating back thousands of years and it traces its roots to the Vedanta lineage of Adi Shankara. However, I'm equally drawn to other Vedic schools of thought — like Yoga and its four paths. I'm endlessly fascinated by how wisdom this old still speaks so precisely to modern life. It is, in truth, a holistic, advanced study of human experience — and it translates beautifully into the language of our nervous system. That focus led me to the Polyvagal Institute, where I learned how practices from Yoga (and Qigong) can be understood through the lens of Polyvagal Theory.

Meditation was never meant to exist separately from life. It's not "just" a stress-release tool — even if that's what brought you here, you'll soon find something deeper beginning to shift.

You might know me as a Polish-born Berlin-based musicians' photographer. In both, I'm drawn to the same thing — seeing clearly and going beneath the surface.

WHO
THIS IS FOR

This work is for you if you've tried meditation and found it harder than it looked. If you feel the pull toward stillness but your body won't quite follow. If stress reduction feels like too small a promise — and you sense there's something deeper available, if only you could reach it.

It's also for you if you already meditate and feel ready to go deeper through the Vedic mantra tradition.

You don't need any experience. You need only a genuine curiosity and a willingness to show up for yourself.

ABOUT
PRIMORDIAL SOUND
MEDITATION

Primordial Sound Meditation is an ancient meditation technique that uses a personal mantra to transcend thoughts and enter a deeper state of being - the gap between thoughts. This deep state is characterized by a profound silence and stillness, where the usual mental chatter and sensory inputs are minimized. It does not represent a decrease in awareness but instead a movement toward a more subtle, all-encompassing awareness.

Primordial Sound Meditation is a sister practice to Transcendental Meditation - both rooted in the same Vedic tradition and Adi Shankara lineage, using silent mantra repetition - with the key distinction lying in how each mantra is selected and personalized.

It was revived and popularised in the 90's by Deepak Chopra and David Simon.

THE
MANTRA

When you learn this practice with me, you'll receive your personal mantra - a sacred sound calculated from the exact time, date, and place of your birth. This mantra represents the vibrational sound the universe was making at the moment you entered the world. Your mantra becomes a vehicle - a bridge that carries you from the activity of daily life into the silence within.

The mantra in Primordial Sound Meditation is not meant to evoke memories of the specific circumstances of your birth but it aligns you with the underlying harmony and wisdom of the universe. It is a sound that resonates with your spirit, beyond any individual life event.

HOW PSM CHANGES
YOUR LIFE

Imagine Primordial Sound Meditation as a quiet lake. On the surface, there might be ripples and waves caused by the winds of daily life: your thoughts, emotions, and external circumstances. As you begin to meditate, it’s like moving beneath the surface, where the water becomes calm, clear, and undisturbed.

In this deeper space, you find clarity and ease that are unaffected by the surface movement. With regular practice, the stillness and insights you encounter at this level begin to rise upward, influencing the surface of the lake. The more you meditate, the more the surface starts to reflect the calm and clarity from below.
